Terms of Use
By using the Khadra app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. The app
Khadra helps you brew tea with precise recipes, keep your recipes, share them in the Majlis, and find tea shops in the UAE. It is operated by Saif AlAnsari, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
2. Your account
- You can use brewing, recipes and shops without an account.
- Publishing, rating, suggesting shops, brands and types, and keeping your recipes in your account require an account. You are responsible for your account details and keeping your account secure.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app.
3. What you publish
- You are responsible for the recipes, ratings, comments, photos and suggestions you publish.
- By publishing, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content in the app and to operate and promote the app, for as long as it stays published. You keep ownership of your content.
- Recipes, brands, types, shop suggestions and their photos are reviewed before they become public. We may accept, reject, edit or remove them.
- Ratings, comments and profile photos appear straight away. They pass through an automatic word filter, and content reported by several users is hidden until we review it. We may remove any of them.
- A tea can only be rated after you finish a brew of it in the app, so ratings come from people who actually brewed it.
4. Acceptable use
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not:
- post abusive, hateful or indecent content, or content that breaks UAE law;
- post misleading information about shops or brands, or fake ratings;
- impersonate anyone or share other people's personal information;
- upload photos you don't have the right to share, or photos showing people's faces without their permission;
- send ads or spam, or try to hack or misuse the app.
You can report any content or user, and block any user. We review reports as soon as we can and take appropriate action, which may include removing content and suspending or deleting accounts.
5. Shop information
We try to keep shop information (locations, hours, seating) accurate, but it may change without our knowledge. Please check before visiting and report anything wrong. We are not responsible for your dealings with any shop.
6. Recipes and brewing
Recipes and amounts are guidance. Take care with boiling water and open flames. We are not responsible for any injury or damage resulting from brewing.
7. Intellectual property
The Khadra name, logo, app design and illustrations belong to us and may not be used without permission. Brand and shop names and logos belong to their owners and are shown for identification only.
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will be error-free or always available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from its use.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and let you know in the app if a change is significant. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the courts of Abu Dhabi have jurisdiction over any dispute.
